Check thermostat operation
Clean and check pilot ignition

Clean and check flame sensor

Clean and check blower motor (oil bearings, check belt, bearings & pulleys)
Check fan on/off relays

Clean and check burners and orifices

Check primary limit operation
Inspect heat exchanger and perform carbon monoxide leak test
Check air filter (air cleaner and/or replace filter)
Check furnace temperature rise
Test flue spill switch operation
